Welcome to my web page. I am excited to have another opportunity to communicate with my students, their parents, and guardians, and the community.
I am a high school special education teacher focusing on the life skills needed to succeed once out of high school. I enjoy another avenue to teaching besides the regular curriculum. Along with life skills my students take classes that they enjoy.
In 1989 I graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Iowa Wesleyan in elementary education. I began teaching in the Mt. Pleasant Community School District in 1990 as a high school Special education teacher. I received my master’s degree from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Ill in 1998.
