Bonjour! ¡Hola! I teach the French III and IV classes at the high school, as well as Spanish I and II. After graduating from Fayetteville-Manlius High school in Manlius, New York in 1974, I attended Denison University, in Granville, Ohio. I then studied abroad at l’Institut d’Études Européennes, in Paris, France during my junior year of college. From 1977 to 1978, I attended the University of Missouri-Columbia where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B. S. in Education and a Missouri Secondary Life Certificate for the teaching of French. I later earned my B.A. in English from Iowa Wesleyan College in 1981 and have an Iowa Professional Certificate for the teaching of secondary French and English. In 1981, I began teaching at the Mt. Pleasant Middle and High Schools. I thoroughly enjoy working with my students and am continually learning from them, as well as from my colleagues and from professional growth classes. In 2006, I earned my Iowa Professional Certificate for the teaching of secondary Spanish.
