Inviting students in grades 6-12 and their parents to the Advanced Manufacturing Career Fair on October 22nd 4pm-7pm

At Southeastern Community College in West Burlington

Ever wonder what a career in the STEM field of advanced manufacturing would be like and what classes might get you ready for those jobs? Students in grades 6-12 and parents are invited to come and learn about the opportunities in the advanced manufacturing field, as well as the educational opportunities available locally to prepare for such a career. Businesses will be bringing samples of their machinery, and employees will be on hand in their "work gear" to answer questions and share information about their jobs as well as the training it takes to work in their field.

In addition to local industries, representatives from Elevate Iowa and SCC will be on hand to talk with those in attendance about choosing a career in the Advanced Manufacturing field and the educational opportunities available.

SENIORS:  Check the Guidance tab on the high school webpage for new scholarships posted weekly.
